The short story: we collect very little, we use it to run SharpBit and talk to you, and we never sell it.

What we collect

Your email and display name when you create an account. Your in-app progress (XP, streak, completions, daily challenge state). The prompt text you write in the fluency check or in Coach. Product analytics about how the site is used (PostHog: anonymous events keyed to a random id stored in your browser, no PII in event properties, no prompt contents).

How we use it

To run the service, save your progress, score your prompts, send you account and lifecycle email, and improve the product.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run SharpBit: hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase), email (Resend), payments (Stripe: card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers), product analytics (PostHog), advertising measurement (Google Tag Manager, which may fire Google Ads and Meta tags for conversion tracking), and the AI provider that scores your prompts and powers Coach (Anthropic). The prompt you submit is sent to that AI provider to generate your feedback. We never sell your data.

Cookies

Minimal, only to make the site work, keep you signed in, and understand basic usage.

Your choices

Ask us to show or delete your data anytime at hello@sharpbit.ai. Unsubscribe from emails in one click. Honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: when either is set, we skip analytics entirely.

Children

SharpBit is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your data, though no service can promise perfect security.
